The Rizik family says goodbye to their clients, staff, and community after 113 years of fashion for Washington DC's women. The showroom is closed but inventory continues to be sold online for the next few months.
On December 10, 2020 we were notified that a staff member has contracted the COVID-19 virus. This person is currently quarantining and will be doing so for the next 10 days. With this news, Rizik’s Boutique has decided to temporarily close to ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients.
From the beginning, Rizik Brothers catered to the well-to-do women with social clout and active busy social calendars - and provided clothes that enhanced the busy lifestyles representative of the period.
We're thrilled to announce a special content feature that we will look back over the store's impressive 112 years. The series will highlight not only the fashion trends throughout this period (especially as they relate to Washington, DC) but also the social, political, and cultural undercurrents that shaped those trends since the store opened in 1908.
An essential part of our retail operation is our bridal salon. Serving brides-to-be, and mothers looking for mother-of-the-bride/groom gowns, is an essential part of what we do. Given the new terrain, we want to make sure our bridal clients have all the resources and options available to make their visit at once safe and enjoyable.
If you have been to Rizik's Boutique, you know our showroom not only features our latest collection but selections from past collections as well. This curated display of merchandise is designed to give our clients a wide range of designers to choose from.
We're excited to introduce the new designers featured in this year's Spring-Summer 2020 Collection. We focused on three themes this season including femininity and individuality, fine fabrics and attention to detail, and the emotion and style embodied in Israeli bridal design.
